Dead For Lies, By Cindy Sheehan
Dead For Lies
By Cindy Sheehan

Once, before I camped out in Crawford, Tx, I was speaking at a venue in DC and I called George Bush a "lying bastard." This was in May 2005; right after we discovered the revelations of the Downing Street Minutes which we believed was the smoking gun that would bring down BushCo in short order.

We held hearings in June of 2005 that Congressman John Conyers convened (in a crowded basement room in the Capitol) that exposed the deceit of the "yellow cake uranium from Niger" lie and the fact that Dick Cheney and Scooter Libby made many trips to the CIA offices to "cherry-pick" intelligence. Along with myself, Ambassador Joe Wilson, and ex-CIA analyst Ray McGovern: Constitutional Attorney John Bonifaz wrapped up the panel to explain how and why the criminal Bush regime should be impeached and imprisoned.

Since then, I have been hailed or condemned for my strong language and told that if I "framed" my language better, I could be more effective. On the other hand, some people have told me to not dare temper my language because what our government is doing to people is so heinous that someone needs to strongly speak out against it. Now something has again surfaced that alternately angers and sorrows me.

A recent report found that BushCo told 935 lies in the two-year run-up to the war! We all know they lied, and frankly, I am surprised that the number is only 935, but it was an apparently exhaustive study by two media analysis groups.

Calling the President of the USA a "lying bastard" may, on the face of things, seem disrespectful, but there are two definitions of the word that seem appropriate to BushCo: 1) something of illegitimate or dubious origin (stolen elections) or 2) someone mean or nasty.

5. ! k&r
Accountability should not be a politically partisan issue. No one should be above the law in a democracy and this is not a game of power plays or revenge for a past impeachment for lying about oral sex in the oval office.

We know they lied and now we must demand hearings from our dysfunctional employees in DC to find out why they lied so we can prevent it from ever happening again.

What’s more obscene? The word “bastard” or the travesty and tragedy of wars based on so many lies told by so many liars?

9. But the Empresses love him...
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/nation/5487596.html

Especially the Dowager Empress, Barbara Bush:

"On former leaders in other countries: "We treat our former presidents much better than other countries. Half of them kill them. The other half put them in jail. ... It's astonishing to me, the British, the day of the election, they're out and they don't have help. They're just gone. ... We're so generous in our country.""

She doesn't realize that probably 2/3 of the country at this point at least believe her son should be impeached. And most of them believe he should be thrown in jail. Some believe her son and her husband should stand trial for international war crimes and judged by the world. Not to punish them so much as to restore some honor to our country.

But theirs is the dynasty that killed half of the leaders in other countries and put the other half in jail.

And of course his Empress in Congress, Madame Speaker, will ensure he remains firmly in place. And a growing number of people believe the reason why is simply that she wishes now to serve the queen instead of the king although the queen probably promised execution if she dared to become the first Madame President since that is reserved for only Hillary Clinton and as one does not speak out against the king or cross the king, one does not speak out against or cross the queen.

Quite a few are shocked by the Kennedy endorsements of Barack Obama but the bottom line is they are probably as fed up with the dynasty as everyone else. And the Bush and Clinton dynasties are one in the same.

It's a shame her constituents will play by the rules and elect Nancy Pelosi again instead of Cindy Sheehan.

The rules are wrong. Sometimes you cannot change a party from within. You have to force change from without. And maybe by some miracle Nancy Pelosi's constituents will realize that and pretend the "I" is a "D" although in her heart of hearts Cindy Sheehan is still a Democrat. The Democratic Party left her. The way it left a lot of people. The way the Republican Party left a lot of people as well.

The Clintons and the Bushes and the Bakers and the Candlestickmakers and now the members of Congress who sold themselves out along with the American people are all Republicrats. Representing one party of self-interest instead of public interest. And Madame Speaker has become their cheerleader. And she's quite good with the pom-poms. Particularly since she seems to have a pair of brass knuckles hidden in them. Her comment about homeless people in San Francisco should have been the red flag waving in the wind. She doesn't care about any people in this country. All she cares about is the agenda.

More power to Cindy Sheehan and more power to those who want to take this country back which unfortunately at this point means taking it back from this delusion of partisan politics. It is merely a ruse.
