I've spent almost my whole 30s under POS Bush Rule. |

The 30s are supposed to be the prime of life.
Why couldn't I have been born 60 years earlier? It would be worth doing without the electronic gadgets to actually have a country and public servants we could believe in.
Is it possible that we could eve have a worse president than this?
It's got to get better, once the next president cleans up POS Bush's mess, right?

14. Actually, I don't think it did. |

My line of work at the time was not directly affected by trade with other countries.
Edit: I'm not saying it had no impact, especially on the rest of my life, because that would be foolish. Nor am I even saying I never had job problems. But overall I didn't do horribly most of the time personally.
It is a testament to how much I detest Bush that I can tell you I am doing better now than I ever did, yet I still would rather have anyone else.

3. Having him as the president has been a tragic waste of time |
|
I'm hoping we can all more forward with our lives once he is out of office.

spent your 30's in a better time. Hey, you would still have many nice electronics and technological advancements too. No DVD's, Ipods, a much slower net, medical advances would have been a little behind, but otherwise it was a good time. We were the chief technological innovators.

As a matter of fact, I've been married for 7 years - they stopped the vote count on our wedding day.

10. Think about kids like my son...his whole childhood and adolescence... |
|
has been under the Bush regime...
My son is 14.
He became politically awakened during the Bush administration. He barely remembers the Clinton administration.
Hopefully, SOON, he'll see what a Democratic presidency looks like.

11. Well, you have your wish. W Bush has set us back AT LEAST 60 years. |

I mean, we really couldn't afford this kind of setback. I feel for you. No one should spend their 30's, or even 20's, teens, 40's, etc. under Bush. I thought we were done w/this bullshit in '92. God how I detested Senior Bush, but his spawn is so much worse.

13. I spent most of mine under Raygun |

wondering when the FUCK people were going to wake up out of that stupor he seemed to put them into and realize just what the hell that gang of thieves was upto.
They never did. They still haven't. Only those of us who were awake enough to notice back then realize what damage that thing did to our country.
At least the current cretin lacks the ability to mass hypnotize the whole country the way Raygun did. That is his only saving grace. People are now waking up to the fact that their country has been stolen. The only question is whether or not it's too late to grab it back.

My co workers 10 years older. All bought houses when you could afford them. All made a killing in the Clinton stock market. Meanwhile I see house prices far beyond my reach and a stock market that hasn't barely moved in 7 years.

19. it's been twenties for me |

ever since I could vote, this f*cker has been (p)resident. When I graduated college, it was hard as hell to find a job during the economic "slowdown" of 2002-2003.
2000 was a horrible letdown, and in 2004, I actually cried when they announced the results. I was at work at the time, and my very Republican boss was crowing about how it was "a great day for America!" I managed to hold my tears in until he left, thankfully, and sat at my desk weeping until a coworker of mine who's a few decades older than me, came to my office (probably to check on me - we few Democrats had to stick together in that place!) and said he made it through the Nixon and Reagan years, and wasn't going to let Bush defeat him.
