Bill's late Bill's late! Cut away
Gah, why do I torture myself like this?

Joe Scarborough spends an hour cutting to a microphone where Bill Clinton was to speak, showing that he was late (as usual). They make a big deal of cutting away every five minutes to show us that he's not there. Cracking jokes everytime somebody else was speaking.

Then he finally shows up and they show about a minute of his speech, then cut away. They cut back to show him there, then talk over it the entire time.

Joe sucks. I used to find him barely tolerable but now he's just a non-stop prick.

2. this week
I don't think they actually support candidates as much as they like to keep things evened up so they can report a horse race and fill all the hours they can't fill with Lockiup and Predator with overpaid politicos who can't get a job anywhere else talking about things they pretend are important.

3. They like to keep it stirred up because it give them hype
They can use big words like clash and attack. All in an effort to help the Democratic candidates destroy each other.

4. I have never been able..
to watch that guy...but then again, I can't watch any of them. Then again I don't have to. There is generally a play-by-play repeated ad nauseam about what is said, implied, divined. You can get in a dither without having to watch a second of it. And it is all sooooo important.

Five U.S. Soldiers Are Killed When Convoy Is Hit in Mosul
Northern Iraqi City Is Growing Concern as Insurgent Base

BAGHDAD, Jan. 28
-- An American military convoy came under a barrage of gunfire in the northern city of Mosul on Monday and then was hit by a roadside bomb that killed five U.S. soldiers. It was a particularly bloody day for the U.S. military in a city that has become a gathering point for the Sunni insurgency, and where Iraq's prime minister vowed to have the "final" battle with the group al-Qaeda in Iraq
