So what are wingnuts, fundies, bigots and Hillary haters gonna' do? |
|
It seems that the Republican Party is out of options. Romney's gone. They hate McCain. Hillary is their worst nightmare. And Barack is the wrong color.
So are they just going to stay home and wait for 2012? Or are they going to put up their Jesus lovin' Huck, or their side show-oddity named Ron Paul? Perhaps they'll just pull a coup at their Republican Convention and select Limbaugh or Coulter.
There's always the possibility they could cross over and vote for one of our candidates. But given their history of Hillary hatred and racism, do you really believe that that will happen?
So it's going to be a really interesting race from here on out watching a gaggle of idealogical purists try to escape the corner into which they've painted themselves.
All I can say, is that if we lose this election, it will either be the greatest theft in history, or the final proof that we Dems couldn't win the greatest "gimme" ever to come down the pike.

1. They're digging up Reagan's body as we speak |
|
They're gonna say he rose from the dead -- like Jesus did to lead the republikkan party -- like Moses did (only it was the Israelites not the republikkans)

8. St. Ronnie is not only dead and gone, but |
|
he's also, for all practical purposes, useless to McCain or any of their other troglodytes.
And just to drive in a final coffin nail, Reagan was an amiable prick. The man is responsible for so much suffering on this planet that his name should forever be reviled.
But the Republicans need a "hero." And what a poor specimen of humanity they've selected. Nonetheless, he's worthy of the sewer in which the Republican Party currently dwells.

every fundie preacher in the country will start in about God and terrorism and the "evils" of Islam, abortion, and "hohmasexules". It will continue until November.
Then, they will ALL run out and vote for him.
If the election isn't going their way about midway through, they'll FIX it.
THAT is what they're going to do. Mark my words.

7. If Huckabee isn't McCain's VP pick I fully expect there to be a |

wing nut third party run. These people do what their handlers tell them to do, and their handlers have been telling them for years to hate McCain. They can't just turn that around. Right wing radio isn't even trying to turn it around. They are just complaining about not being king makers anymore.
I think their best candidates were Romney, Paul and Huckabee. All relatively likable and not establishment. McCain is a free thinker who doesn't drink the kool-aid sometimes. Completely unacceptable to freepers, with them it is all kool-aid all the time or your out of the club, period.

10. Obama could take Republican votes from McCain |
|
Some Republicans do not want to stay in Iraq for 100 years or fight a war with Iran. They don't enjoy being called anti-American or anti-Semitic, so they keep quiet. Obama should be able to steal antiwar Republican voters from McCain. Hillary is for the war so she has little to offer them. :wtf:
