Name a recent Republican who won a contested election on the up-and-up? |
|
It's a lot harder than it sounds. I'm talking no dirty tricks, no voting scams, just fair and square. If you want to make this exercise even harder, try and think of someone who won without trying to run as a moderate Republican.

1. Just wondering - Has there ever been an election that was NOT contested? |

2. What about our own candidates? |
|
Kucinich started a recount in the New Hampshire Democratic primary because he must have thought something wasn't on the "up and up".
Why do you think that was?

3. Bill Clinton didnt win that way either |
|
If Perot hadnt ran he would have lost in 1992 to Bush sr. because he couldnt win a majority on his own.

5. By "contested" I meant a race that we realistically could have won |

but Mark Neumann beat Peter Barka for who was holding Les Aspens old seat in SE Wisconsin in 1994.
He held the seat until 1998 when he ran for senate and gave Russ Feingold a pretty good challenge.
