board mechanics question. hiding a thread. |

I've gotten pretty good at ignoring, but I'd like to be able to hide a thread, without ignoring the OP, so far, I'm baffled. It might be due to me using the beta version of FireFox, but it's stable and functional in other respects.
Any suggestions?
ps. I know how to hide a board, but that's not what I want to do. for example, on GD:P , if I could hide "donate to X" or "Y is evil" threads it would be a blessing. that, plus a liberal use of "ignore".

is on the bottom left of the message pane (below all the writing)opposite where you would hit 'reply'
you must hide thread from the original post only, it's not available on replies
