C-SPIN: WJ...The Knives Are Out For Obama... |
|
Disclaimer: I do not support any candidate...this is yet another evaluation in the media coverage...or attempts at manipulating it.
Seems like every other caller the past couple days have been loaded with anti-Obama callers. Now I'm sure there are some who have genuine concerns, but this sure smells to me like some GOOP astroturfing going on. The wingnuts have had wet dreams of taking on Hillary and they're seeing it slip away. Also its interesting that these type of calls have increase while the pro Ron Paul calls have disappeared.
What say you?

1. Yeah, the corporations are going full throttle with their propaganda news. |
|
They know that all Obama has to do is go out and give a speech and suddenly thousands of voters have switched to voting for him, and I'm saying this as a Hillary supporter.
They are seriously afraid of him. It's funny to watch. The corporations own just about every media outlet but they can't seem to shut down Obama.
I like seeing it. It's something the neocons fascists didn't count on - A charismatic liberal inspiring everyone who listens to him.
It's good to let the corporations know they don't own the hearts of this country. Seems Obama does, for now.

2. Yep. . .the Republican's mortal enemy is HOPE |
|
A political party which has exclusively campaigned on fear and division is very frightened of the prospect of any candidate who even dares express "hope."

Just the word "conservative" says it all...backward looking and fearful of change. This also applies to the corporate media that believes it can control and manipulate information and opinion thus drawing ratings and profits. Most of the "controversy" in this campaign among the Democrats would have been ignored in most past campaigns, but the corporate media has turned molehills into mountains in an attempt to keep people and eyeballs "interested".

5. Obama was supposed to be the fake competition |
|
They felt comfortable giving him plenty of air time. They never gave him the credit of a slight chance. They used him to snuff out Kucinich, Edwards, Biden and all the rest. Sometimes the best layed plans go up in smoke. Hehehe GObama

Again...an observation...the rise of callers attacking Obama...many sound white and 40 plus. Some claim to be supporting Clinton...others have used the "liked him, now I'm not sure" game...similar to the "I used to be a Democrat, (insert bash here) routine. Even as recent as a week ago, there were a lot of pro-Obama callers...including on GOOP lines that frosted some asses out there. I also noticed the irony of the fading of the Paulbots...now where did they all go???

9. This Is About The Media Coverage... |
|
It's not advocating for a candidate or with Primary results...it's about the portrayal of this campaign via our corporate media.
