Has anybody seen polling on how the electoral votes shape up... |

in a Obama-McCain or Clinton-McCain general election? I have been looking, but haven't seen anything as yet. I'd be interested in seeing if my suppositions are correct as to which states are in play. My short list:
VA LA MO NM
Other possibilities:(more for an Obama GE candidacy, as he's going to energize the African-American bloc) GA AB SC TN

The only thing that got Stupid his "victory" here in 2004 was 17,000+ of us having our national votes erased while having them retained in the local races for judges.
It's why we got paper ballots.
Considering Democrats swept the judge races, I'd be willing to wager that Stupid's 4000 vote "victory" was actually a 13,000 vote DEFEAT.

I had in mind "ripe for Democratic taking" - for no reason other than the Hispanic vote, but you've caused me to reevaluate; NM now solid BLUE in my calculus.

5. Virginia seems quite interesting,,, |

A popular ex-governor running to replace Warner in the senate, the election of Webb, and a reasonable popular current governor all indicate that VA might finally be ready to go over to the Blue side for president.
