yeah. 3% fall and China is even worse off, because they don't have auto stops in their system as well advanced as ours.

But we have been lied to about all the economic stats for 6 years now..new jobs created, unemployment, etc., etc.,..When a Democratic President takes over in 2009 the real numbers will be revealed and since we have a Democratic majority in Congress now, the real numbers might come out now since this stock market thing happen..and of course its all the Democrats fault..the problem I have is my pension investment..It may not even be affected by this downfall at all but all the pension administrators need is an excuse to lower our revenue and take a larger chunk in management fees...

. . .the market is not the economy. They are only tangentially related, bidirectionally, but a one day, or even one month event in the market may be totally related, or completely unrelated to economic conditions. (With one exception: There has never been a drastic, sustained drop in equity or capital markets when the economy i truly strong at low inflation.)
But, aside fromt that, the growth of the last 20 quarters is in the bottom quarter of the last 60 years. That means we have real growth, and inflation values, and employment levels that consitute 24 of the worst 60, since 1946. So, you can keep that in mind when these buffoons throw that out.
