If it's not too late in your area, don't forget to put out your food donations for the mail person. |

1. Left a whole bag out.... |
|
...I even had bottled juices/spritzers in there. Soups, beans, oat groats, canned veggies, canned olives, canned chili, canned ravioli, etc.

I have forgotten previous years, so I left the stuff out in the kitchen where I would see it first thing in the morning - and now it is by the mail box.

...to get out!
Some of what I had was forgotten from a previous food drive. We had a local food pantry burn down a few months ago and places all over town were collecting food to replenish their supplies in their new place. I kept forgetting to bring the stuff with me to deposit it in the bins around town! Arrrgh! So I checked the dates on all the stuff I had - All still OK - then picked up a little more and blocked my door inside with the bag. When I left home, I put it outside the door. Got home and it was gone!
'Twas my good deed for the day. Besides, I like America's Second Harvest.

4. Nice gesture on the thank you deal, but if they drop that, how much more food would it buy? |

3. This kinda creeped up on me |
|
and I buy most of my stuff in bulk from the co op, so I was only able to leave soups, a BIG jar of peanut butter, some tomato sauce.
But it's better than the nothing that a lot of hungry people have right now.
