Travis Childers Got in the Coup de Grâce on the GOP Last Night
Edited on Wed May-14-08 11:12 AM by IWantAnyDem
The Repoublican Party is finished, and Travis Childers got to strike the death blow.

In a PVI R+10 district, a Democrat has won. This is the third solidly red congressional district to go to a Democrat in three special elections this year.

Now, the NRCC has nothing. They are penniless. The well of donations has gone dry, and the GOP House Caucus is in full out "every man for himself" mode.

Sit back and watch, DU. This is what all the fighting was for.

We are on the cusp of a completely new power structure in this country.

1. May the Republican party be blown back into the Stone Age.
Oh, wait... I guess they never left it.

This is wonderful news.
