should the picker get injured in the process. Others, like this one, seek to keep all metals recycled because they bring a decent price for the town.
The time to pick garbage is when it's out on the street, before it goes to the dump.
I furnished a whole series of apartments in Boston by picking trash, but I'd never have gone to the dump to do it.

i'm dropping off some food and misc. at my local one later today. (the mail collection of food--which ours didn't get picked up--was going to be taken there anyway)
