did anybody else listen to bush's speech to the knesset? |
|
i don't know how i'm standing it, but the headline said that i would hear democrats' reactions... rtsp://video1.c-span.org/project/ter/ter051508_bush.rm
got a question: doesn't he sound like he's drunk?
i can't look at him. i can't believe anyone can listen to the bullshit he spews and not see right through it. did the world forget that actions speak louder than words?
i just wondered if i was the only one who thought he sounded drunk.

1. He sounded like an idiot with a really thick Texas accent |
|
"Didn" instead of "didn't," that kind of thing. It's what some of us sound like, but it sure doesn't sound very presidential, at least coming out of his mouth.

I'm reluctant to exaggerate but I am pretty sure that Bush's remarks were unprecedented. For an American president to address a foreign legislature and make a blatant political attack is, to quote Senator Biden, "bullshit." Clearly, Bush wants to leave future historians no wiggle room whatsoever when it's time for them to weigh in on the worst U.S. president ever.
