2. Have CNN Audio on and they're waiting on an announcement.
Did you read the post that said he was cogent? And another post said he had personally phoned someone. If these are accurate, that's encouraging.

I just wish we would get some official word soon that he's OK.
Sen Kerry was at a college commencement, so he must have come straight from there.

CNN now saying family "guardedly optimistic"

5. Kerry has no time to speak to reporters.
There are things more important than speaking to this reporters at this time. He'd rather make sure one of his best friends is alright than satisfy the egos of the press.
