Movie "Iron Man" Cluster Bombs and MN's Walk Against Weapons
I just saw the movie "Iron Man" with Robert Downey Jr.. The character is a genius, designs War Weapons and owns the War Profit company. They sell to the US military and also other countries, and end up getting in the hands of war lords in Afghanistan who used them against US troops and Afghan Civilians. It really shows war profiteering. It was a trip to watch this movie.

*** I couldn't believe how weapons were similar to MN company Alliant Tech that just moved to Eden Prairie.

It is even more ironic because on Saturday we are having a fundraiser.. Walk Against Weapons.. and walking 5 miles from the old headquarters in Edina to new headquarters in Eden Prairie. not to far from 950am.

And on Monday in Dublin, Ireland many countries are signing a treaty banning cluster bombs.. except the US.

Just fyi,, there will also be Veterans for Peace participating on this walk.

Here is the info on WAMM's website, that includes why, where, when, and the map.

Here is the info of the global treaty in Dublin, (I got it off the National Vets for Peace site)

** and if anyone can get this to Robert Downey jr, or Jon Favreau, the producer of Iron Man **
Maybe they would like to donate to our Walk or come join us.

1. I saw the movie too.
And it was really good! What happened in the end cradits anyways? Someone told me their was some little extra footage at the end that makes it look like their will be a sequel.

Kinda off topic, but I also saw Speed Racer a few days ago, it was cool but it sucked at the same time. I cant quite make up my mind on wow that flick was.

2. **SPOILERS**

Nick Fury shows up (the Ultimate Marvel version, not the 616 version) and he informs Stark that he isn't the only superhero in existence, paving the way for an Avengers sequel. What's cool is they got Fury's Ultimate Marvel likeness-sake Samuel L. Jackson to play the role. Robert Downey Jr. will have a cameo role in the upcoming "Incredible Hulk" film, as well (which is great, because superhero flicks have never been able to crossover like the characters do in the books, until now, since Marvel got the movie rights back to some of their characters.

The after-credits postscript is on YouTube:
