Harold Ford = Republican... |
|
Edited on Tue May-20-08 06:43 PM by wanpete
Is there no other democrat that MSNBC can get to discuss the democratic point of view? Of all the times I see him, he always (on any network or setting) agrees more with the republicans on the panel than Dems on any issue. It's sickening to watch.

1. Yes, Harold Ford is VILE. |
|
I can't imagine why anyone in his/her right mind would have any interest in what that idiot has to say.

3. I now turn the channel when I hear them announce that he's coming up. As much as I wanted a bigger |

majority in the senate, I'm not nearly as upset anymore that he didn't win. I'm beginning to not be able to stand the guy.

Not that I am to biggest Obama fan, but how did being more centrist work out for Ford in Tennessee. As far as I know he still lost the election.

17. I don't understand. If you want to be a republican, it's easy enough. Just switch your party |
|
affiliation and run as a republican. Why try to make the Democratic party republican?

23. Not necessarily. In many cases party choice has less to do with ideology than expedience. |
|
Often times party choice is simply a matter of heading to where the openings are.
Personally, I'm a fiercely partisan Democrat. But I recognize that not all Democrats are Democrats because they are true believers, especially when it comes to career politicians. There are those who believe and those who are using the party as a means to an end. They might more closely resemble Republicans in ideology but for one reason or another found the grass a little greener on the donkey side of the fence at the particular place and time they were party shopping.
Things are never as simple or straightforward as we would like them to be, sad to say.

I don't care much for his politics but he is very good looking. So I usually watch whenever he is on with but with the sound off.
