1. My wife has YOPD - Young onset Parkinson's disease. Not only has stem cell research been held up here in the US on this, but she also was routinely examined more in depth on flights as someone saw her as a risk.



2. My daughter. No health care and not worth covering to the government. Were she a bank or really wealthy this government would bail her out and make sure she had what she needed.



3. Infrastructure. While we spend over a Trillion in Iraq, we have shit like this here:


4. Homeless people and poverty are on the rise. While our government spends more on defense than social programs:


5. Poverty here and throughout the world. We are a 'super power' in that we have the most weapons of war. When will we be a super power against that which is killing people everyday more so than war?


6. Gay rights - if you are waiting on the right to do something about them....keep waiting.


7. Racism - Who else is gonna combat it? The RW????


8. Global Climate Change.
