Bush Will Not Meet With Fallen Soldiers' Families

I know I am late in responding to Bush's comment about how he had given up golf as a sign of solidarity with soldiers; however, I would like to say at least one thing. There was a report a few weeks ago about the progress of the cases involving the bombing of the USS Cole. A father of one of the soldiers stationed on the Cole at the time of the attack said that President Bush was not fully corporating with the families of the fallen soldiers from that event to assure that those who participated in the incident would be brought to justice. In addition, I am almost certain that President Bush has not met with all the families of the fallen from the Iraq War; I am not sure he has even met with half of the families.

If he (Bush) wanted to show solidarity with the families he should meet with the families of the fallen soldiers from the Iraq War and assure that all those who participated in the USS Cole bombing will be brought to justice. In addition, he should make sure the soldiers are getting all the equipment they need. Finally, he should make should that the military's budget for spare parts and training is not raided.
