1. I don't think so, cause that would drive the Repugs. right away from McCain...
Most already don't feel McCain is a Republican at this point.

3. The upside of Lieberman being on the GOP ticket...
...would be that if Obama wins, and the Democrats increase thier Senate seats, they could safely strip Holy Joe of his seniority and committee assignments and force him to caucus with the Republicans.
