Repubicans are FUCKING HILARIOUS when they find their hand in the cookie jar is exposed |
|
Edited on Wed May-28-08 10:43 AM by Husb2Sparkly
All day there has been a parade of Repubican spokesmodels. Young and old, tall and short, male and female, ugly and handsome, fat and skinny ....... and **every**fucking**one** of them is saying the same damned things about Little Scotty and his little book.
You have to admire their discipline and lockstepedness. It is getting REALLY transparent. But it is still disciplined.
They used to be able to hide it better. The talking points were better woven into the fabric of their teevee yammerings. Now they all seem, literally, to be reading the very same script.
edit for title typo

You know the way John plays the sound bites of pundits all saying the same thing.

3. They are all reading the same script |
|
and you can bet the White House propagandists have been working on that script for the last couple of months, ready to hand it out to the pundits the day that Scotty's publisher leaked the first details of the book.
Remember, nobody on the right knows what to think about anything until they are told by their leadership. Their leadership makes certain they know what to think within 12 hours of anything potentially embarrassing coming out.

5. I still would not waste my money on his book. |
|
The boys know the only books that sell are anti-administration and the only way they can control the message is to disguise their propaganda and pawn it of as truth.
Feh!

But....

7. Nonetheless, the walls are slowly crumbling around a certain Chimp |
|
I predict more and more former fluffers will come out of the woodwork, before and after the fetid Chimp leaves office.

9. I'm Happy This Is Coming Out While * Is Still In Office........ |
|
there is still time to make and example out of * so that this never again happens to this country. I hope this gives courage to other WH insiders to tell all.
Instead we get Rove trying to run out the clock by not honoring his subpoena - we all know he is waiting for *'s last day in office when * pardons the whole lot of them.
You would think that the biggest story of that day would be a new Dem pres that happens to be black takes office - but instead the biggest story of that day will be of *'s pardons.
That will be a sad day in the history of this country - why - because - we let * get away with his criminality - and basically made it 'ok' for it to happen yet again.

8. So Should We Here At DU Fall For The Talking Points And Give Them Further....... |
|
ammunition by dissing Scotty for not coming out sooner?
By doing this we are actually supporting *Co and helping make this story go away faster than it should.
Instead we should be shouting all over about what's been written in this book. I don't care if Scotty didn't quit his job and say it sooner. I'm just glad that this info is finally coming out by somebody that was a WH insider. I don't care if he was a 'spinner' when he was employed there.
He left on good terms - now all of a sudden he's a 'disgruntled employee'.
You Scotty bashers here - are helping their cause. Don't let them suck you in.

10. It's transparent to us, of course |
|
but, if somebody only watches the evening news, it sounds fresh to them.
Or, if you catch a sound-bite on the morning radio news...

12. Ed Shultz said it very well today on two kinds of former Bush employees. |
|
They are either "disgruntled," meaning of course that they are criticizing their former boss.
Or, they are "overzealous," meaning of course that they were dismissed after getting caught doing exactly what Bush wanted them to do.
