Greg Palast: If What Rove Did To Election Rolls Not Corrected, John McCain Has Already Been Elected
Edited on Thu May-29-08 12:54 AM by Hissyspit
From Mark Crispin Miller, Greg Palast speaks on the disenfranchisement of U.S. troops and several million other American citizens, and GP also notes that Karl Rove MUST be made to testify, or else the next election will be "won" by John McCain.

Indict Karl Rove

Save the 2008 election

McCain has already been elected

I wonder how many people understand the profound significance of the recent subpoena of Karl Rove by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Let me lay it out for you.

If what Karl Rove did to the election rolls is not corrected, John McCain has already been elected president.

4. We have to work election protection this year like our lives depend on it.
And that's about networking with each other -- not relying on politicians or government.

That's about getting people to check their registration in plenty of time to correct problems for the GE, among other things.

Especially in swing states.

7. Yes!
It's more than just checking our own registrations. Once we've checked our own, we need to find out if our state/county/city/district is doing anything fishy with voter rolls, voting machines, or anything related to voting day--before voting day.

We need to know what's going on in our district, so we can let people who know what to do know what's going on, so they can do something about it before it's too late.

9. We need to let election officials know WE ARE WATCHING
The "rolls" were made digital by the Hinder American Voting Act. So, it's very easy to lose registrations.

We have to work it this year. Our candidate will win, in a clean election. The Republicans have being working all over to deny us a clean election.

Let's disappoint them. :)

I've been waiting until the insanity abates a bit for him. But, I have it ready to go.

This is going to be the most important issue for Democrats. Because our candidate will win a clean election.

We need to focus on swing state black votes, student votes, military votes. That's where they will try to steal it.

/oops

And, as in 2006, win by enough to overcome it.

Unfortunately the fight has to be state by state.

18. Debra has been a fantastic -- we were THIS far from being turned
via fraud.

But you're right. We have to work state by state. We have to identify vulnerable voters and areas for now.

15. You're right but they've put in other programs since then.
They passed HAVA which mandates digital voter (sorry, I can't find you) reg rolls in every state and they've been setting up vote caging operations all over.

We have a fight on our hands. At least this time, we know where to look.

are in also cahoots with them, because of kickbacks from the companies that get the voting machine contracts.

30. A Powerful Video
But many of us have been banging pots and pans on this issue since the Dems won congress- and we were told that it was not important enough for them to be working on.

Illusions of democracy.

36. Hoping the arms of justice will be swift and harsh against Rove.
I'm glad I watched the whole video. In the end, it's the government that can protect us against those who "govern" without accountability and attempt to thwart the constitution.

Karl Rove should be dragged in handcuffs to testify. Maybe Scott McClellan can help that happen by testifying himself.

Good video, Hissyspit!
