Colombia, , Madgalena River area, flooding - big job losses

In Central Colombia, authorities have declared a state of emergency after heavy rains hit the area, destroying hundreds of acres of land. The Madgalena River, one of Colombia's main waterways, continued to rise, threatening the livelihood of thousands of residents.
