I just had an Obama volunteer come to my door! |
|
I am obviously voting for Obama (I'm sure he saw my lawn sign), but he came by anyway to say to make sure I don't assume anything and actually go vote, and he gave me a list of voting recommendations. But he's going door to door, and my neighborhood isn't the most liberal one out there.
Anyway, good for you, Obama volunteers!

1. With people waiting in lines for hours to vote early in states where Obama is clearly ahead, |
|
why does anyone really believe that Obama supporters are complacent or taking anything for granted. I believe there are millions of people who are anxious to vote, even in a state like Illinois, who especially want to be a part of history.

2. I was just doing this, dropping lit at known Obama supporters doors. |
|
Spent 4 hours at headquarters today also. My feet hurt, and I still have more lit to drop, waiting for my SO to get home and drive me around. It will be easier. (He's a fireman, he knows these stupid streets, I'm known to get lost in a parking lot!)

3. I hear you. My feet are tired , too. |

I just got back from lit drops in MI as well. With all the signs for Obama, we've got MI locked up for him.

|
of the car. My SO is not voting for Obama, but he just helped me campaign for him. I'm very happy!
Late supper tonight...

6. Me too! And he gave me a sign for my yard! |
|
I have been wanting one and feeling so guilty for not having one. We are surrounded by McCain Palin signs. A neighbor down the street and 3 doors over has a Palin sign. Now we have one too!
The volunteer was great. He showed me his target sheet with the "known" Obama supporters ( just approximate x's on a street, no street numbers or names, that must have been on a separate sheet). More than I thought, but less than I'd like, but not really a surprise. I consider myself in a predominantly red area, but most likely going purple at the very least.

7. My Republican Hubby was surprised at the target sheet, |
|
People he knows are democrats, were not on my sheets for lit drops. It was strange to walk past houses decked out with Democratic yard signs, and not stop. I tucked in a Obama poster for one house with GREAT bumper stickers on their front door, all anti-Bush. Love it.
