Poll question: Poll: Most unlikely dream, but it's fun to wish... |
|
Which do you think is the most unlikely dream currently harbored by the most DUers about what may happen now that Obama has been elected and the Democratic House and Senate majorities have grown?

1. Oh shoot, I voted wrong. I see now it was "most unlikely dream." I voted for the one I wanted most |
|
and I don't think it's too unlikely -- the good secure jobs for Americans.
Most unlikely, I think, is Bush at the Hague.

5. I think it is utterly preposterous to think that there will be any justice |
|
for the crimes of the last 8 years.

2. A hard decision, but I went with corporate personhood |
|
because so many of the others are linked to it. Health care, the war as an expression of military industrialism, media ownership issues, etc.
I guess I'm grateful that this poll made me spend a couple minutes thinking some of that through.

3. I think corporate power is far too entrenched in the halls of power in DC for |
|
any serious challenge to their preeminence in the US to happen
sadly, I think that means meaningful health care reform; good, secure jobs; meaningful campaign finance reform and a host of other issues will remain just wishes.

4. At least we know where to attack. |
|
Crack that one nut, and the rest is (relatively) easy.
