New form of crystal meth that targets children: Strawberry Meth |
|
For the love of our children, please educate yourselves as teachers and parents, and hold your kids tight!
Be on the lookout for a new form of crystalized meth that is targeted at children.
They are calling this new form of meth "Strawberry Quick" and it looks like the 'Pop Rocks" candy that sizzles and pops in your mouth. In its current form it is dark pink in color and has a strawberry scent to it.
Please advise your children and their friends and other students not to accept candy from strangers, as this is an obvious attempt to seduce children into drug use. They also need to be cautious about accepting candy from friends, who may have received it from someone else, thinking it was candy.
(from a flyer I got today at my doctor's office in East Tennessee)
Peace,
Ghost

20. Headquarters Department of the Army sent that out every year |
|
We leaders were directed, by HQDA, to be very certain to look for blue star tattoo papers in our troops' rooms during barracks searches. About four of my guys, after I read this bullshit message to them, went downtown and got blue stars tattooed on their arms. This of course pissed off Master Sergeant Kumpost (his real name) but what are you gonna do?

9. What drug dealer is stupid enough to get involved with small children? |
|
Wouldnt they figure that small children will tell on them if they get sick or get caught?
What would be the point in giving a disguised drug to a child- if he did "get hooked"- he wouldnt even know what he was hooked to.
"Hey kid- rmember that 'candy' I gave you last week- well if you ever want to feel that good again, it's gonna cost ya next time!" Is that how this is supposed to play out?
Up Next- Rock & Roll records have Satanic backwards messages! Tell Your Children!!!
But seriously-did you run this by snopes yet?
Sounds like a back-woods PTA generated urban legend to me.

27. I know a little something about a couple of things. |
|
And when it comes to the dope trade, small children have very little money.
Wait-staff, strippers, and anyone else who works for tips are the best customers.
And oh yeah...I'm 12 yrs clean as of 10/28/2008.

13. Remember: Never give adult strength crystal meth to your children! |
|
There's a reason they make children's meth. Be a good parent and know the difference.

I'm pro pot all the way, but meth is pure evil. There is a huge difference in how meth affects people. It's damn dangerous. It causes all sorts of REALLY BAD self harming incidents as well as a permanent dangerous form of addiction that destroys their lives. It puts holes in the users' brains and they NEVER fully recover.
I despise meth. I wish it had never been manufactured in the first place. I recommended this. I don't want to see children harmed by such a horrible synthetic poisonous thing as meth.

|
Even though meth is THE WORST DRUG IN THE WORLD--why don't people just take arsenic and get it over with quick?--it appears Strawberry Quick meth doesn't actually exist.

Educate yourself.
I swear if I listened to all the "protect our children" nonsense my kids would never leave the house and if they did they would have to wear flak jackets, helmets, riot shields, shin guards and carry an automatic weapon.
Your kids are going to be fine, if you let them.

24. Think this through....why would meth dealers want to give it away? |
|
There is no shortage of crystal meth customers, unfortunately. There is no need for dealers to drum up business by giving away samples of their product. Nor would it be a good business model to give samples to children, who have no money. What would be the point of this?
