Lieberman gives new meaning to the word chutzpah (sp?) |
|
he's got to be kidding us, right? http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=6201938&page=1
But Lieberman refused the offer, sources said, and said that taking revenge for Lieberman's support of McCain was not consistent with President-elect Obama's promise to change Washington and to work in a way that transcends partisan politics.

It's time to balance the quid pro quo. Badda-bing, badda-boom.

Edited on Fri Nov-07-08 06:09 AM by Enrique
"I endorsed Joe Lieberman in his primary campaign against Ned Lamont, despite pressure from the base of our party, and from antiwar activists. He won, and then went on to endorse my Republican opponent, saying that I have never had the political courage to stand up to the left wing of our party. In addition, when asked if I might be a Marxist, he answered that it is a good question to ask. Now, after I have won and his candidate has lost, he appeals to my own message in order to save his chairmanship. OK, Joe, you got it, I'm bigger than that."

5. Au contraire, Lieberman. |
|
You currently chair the Homeland Security committee. In January you won't chair any Senate committee. See? That's change.

Turn down your only offer, I dare you!
What will AIPAC think of you then?
The man is in a trap of his own making, and not smart enough to deal with it.
