1. If they want this to go away, they should donate to Equality California |

Donate money to make this go away.
Or donate here:
The Center has launched a new website, InvalidateProp8.org, where you can support efforts to invalidate the measure—and send a message to the Mormon church, which played a leading role in funding the Yes on 8 campaign of lies and distortions.
Donations made at InvalidateProp8.org will support legal efforts to invalidate the measure as well as grass-roots efforts in support of marriage equality. For each donation of $5 or more, the Center will send a postcard to Mormon church President Thomas Monson, informing him a donation was made in his name.
“It is a travesty that the Mormon Church bought this election and manipulated voters in the great state of California,” says Center CEO Lorri L. Jean.
“We will send a message to President Monson that we will not tolerate being stripped of our equal rights in the name of religious bigotry. Let’s flood the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City with postcards!”

2. You have every right to be outraged IMO. |

What I'm sick of is the following meme: "<Insert demographic here> is solely responsible for our woes."
Do we have any plan of action? I've seen footage of the protests, and I'm sure some CA DUers have been contacting their government officials, but can any more be done? (Serious question. I live in MA, am in favor of same-sex marriage, and want to help.)

3. You Have Plenty Of DUers And Others On Your Side |
|
I know plenty of heterosexual people that never took on a gay cause before that are outraged over prop 8 (myself included). I have no doubt that this will be overturned in the near future and will do all I can to help.
The fault belongs to all of us (gays included) who didn't expect the other side to outright lie. We should have learned our lessons from the past and funded the no on 8 campaign appropriately.

They poked the bear and then get all huffy when the bear growls. Well the bear is just getting started, there will be no quarter for bigots, nowhere to hide, nowhere to run.

5. God.....why won't the gays just stay under the bus where we throw them?! |
|
First they want marriage...what next? Pretty soon they will be against us bashing them or preaching against them in our churches!!
