2. Actually watched the whole thing. |
|
I'm interested in seeing what other people have to say about this -- so long as they actually finish the video.

8. I don't need to finish the video to know this is not |

the dead child's father. Although the actual dad of the dead child didn't look to me to be showing much emotion when he was interviewed.

3. I don't think the father is the father of the boy who was killed. |
|
He's the father of the boy in the video who also fired the uzi but was not hurt.

I am pretty sure that DU armchair shrinks would claim he was in shock. The simple explanation however is that this man is not the dead child father.

...and I'm not a gun owner and will probably never buy own a gun or keep one at home. Now show me the video of the stupid Dad who let his 8 year old shoot a fully Auto Uzi, that guy should go to jail for a while for negligence.
I was a Riflery instructor at a Summer Camp for several years and we had no problem letting kids shoot .22 Cal single shot rifles and even let the bigger kids shoot Trap with a 410 gage Shot Gun and as long as you sized up each kids skills and abilities, there was never a problem. I was very good at Trap shooting when I was 14 years old and I think I may have even done it a year or two before that.
If you want to judge someone negatively, it's the parent that let the 8 year old kid shoot the Uzi and the Gun Club that didn't have tighter rules about how closely they monitor kids there.
Now what does bother me, is the reporter laughing at the idea of the Cat setting it's self on fire, yeah, that would be REALLY funny.:eyes:

9. looks like some guy talking during an interview... |
|
this coming from someone who thinks its completely inappropriate for kids to be going to gun ranges in the first place. why the hell does a seven year old need to shoot guns?
