2. Lack of transparency contributed to this crisis in the first place.
Just can't teach those old dogs new tricks.

3. Quick quote from the article- people should read this!
Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Reserve is refusing to identify the recipients of almost $2 trillion of emergency loans from American taxpayers or the troubled assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.

That alone is a pretty interesting hook.

So were the policies that made the bailout "necessary".

7. But Republicon 'leadership' was there all the way
to the crapper.

This is a republicon fiasco. That there were Dem Symps is true, but the republicon homelanders earned this FAIL the old-fashioned way: with their greed, corruption, and Wide Stance amorality.

6. It's to prevent good ol' fashioned bank runs.
They fear the masses will panic if we knew who was in trouble and how serious their problems are.

From the article......

Banks oppose any release of information because it might signal weakness and spur short-selling or a run by depositors, said Scott Talbott, senior vice president of government affairs for the Financial Services Roundtable, a Washington trade group.

8. That's just bullshit.
There are no depositors. Americans don't save. They're afraid of a run by share holders trying to sell their stock.
