Isn't there surgery for cross eyes? Ron Christie is so hard to watch |
|
He is a neocon ass, spouting his nonsense on Hardball right now. And every time he is on, I think damn, isn't there some kind of surgery he can have to get his eyes fixed?
I know it sounds mean, and I don't mean it that way. I am seriously asking if there is a medical treatment for him.

Sometimes people with astigmatism get a wandering eye as they try to focus. It's not real crossed eyes but can look like it.

Seriously, Sarah Palin had the same problem. Early videos of her as a sportscaster, sans the glasses, show her as cross eyed.

2. Makes one wonder how good HIS health insurance is? |

Had a friend who had the same problem. It's easily corrected by surgery.
And I agree with you - it's difficult to watch him speak.

3. Yes, if it had been done in childhood. |

However, the more these loons look like what they are (and wall eye helps), the better it is for us.

6. Crossed eyes must be a side effect of lobotomy surgery. |

8. Funny... I"ve always been struck just as much with the weird |
|
makeup they use on him.... very matte with weird ashen-charcoal tones. Gives his skin a very unnatural look. The eyes just complete the picture.

12. We had a local judge who was the opposite |

Marty Feldman type eyes and during his career as an attorney he used that to his advantage but shortly after winning a judges seat he had his eyes fixed. So if they could fix judge Thomas's eyes they should be able to fix his.:hi:

13. If he hasn't had the corrective surgery already it would be a crap shoot at best |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-11-08 06:14 PM by NNN0LHI
I have one lazy eye that was never corrected when I was young and now if I had it done to where the eyes were equal the muscles that have been trying to do the correcting are so strong now from trying to correct them eye over all these years they may now over correct the eye pulling it in the other direction after a "successful" surgery.
At least thats what a couple of eye docs have told me.

15. My daughter has one eye with an atrophied muscle. |
|
It will occasionally look like she's cross eyed if she looks in the direction that the "bad" eye won't move. The bad eye remains looking straight ahead then. Otherwise her eye moves up/down and to the center, just not to the right. They told us when she was a child that she'd eventually go blind in that eye. She's 32 now and has stronger vision in that eye than her "good" eye.
She was about 2 1/2- 3 yrs old before we finally got a diagnosis. The pediatricians kept telling us it was a lazy eye and she'd grow out of it.
