This very hypocritical Lieberman decision is worth a ONE DAY rant, then I'm letting it go...

There is a difference between railing against a bad decision as part of the opposition party vs being part of the party in power.

Although I strongly disagree with the ridiculous and hypocritical Dem capitulation to Lieberman, I have reluctantly decided that this is not worth more than a one day rant.

There are far greater matters at hand than wasting much more breath (or bandwidth) talking about that traitorous prick.

Ultimately, I know President Elect Obama will do far, far more right for our country and planet than wrong. I'll chalk up the Lieberman decision as a disagreement. I do want to walk into January with optimism and support for Obama's new administration. After the euphoria many of us felt at his election, the last thing I want to be doing is whining about him already.

But I'll give myself today to gripe about a very, very stupid decision. My complaint in no way negates my support for Barack Obama. Hopefully someplace (other than on DU), our valid concerns are noted (yea right). Gawd, I so hoped election 2008 would render Lieberman 100% irrelavent!
