Not often mentioned fact about Jim Martin in Georgia: He is a Viet Nam veteran.
Jim Martin, the Democratic candidate for US Senate against Repub Saxby Chambliss in Georgia, served as a US Army intelligence officer in Viet Nam. Saxby Chambliss did not serve in the US military. Chambliss' predecessor, Max Cleland, served heroically in Viet Nam. Chambliss slimed Cleland's Viet Nam war service in 2002.

Chambliss needs to be shown the door.

Martin needs money.

1. Is there still time for some money to help?
I thought it was down to a recount...how can we help?

3. No re-count in Georgia. It is a run-off between Martin and Chambliss.
Money is desperately needed by the Martin campaign.

2. Very true...
Funny how the "real" heroes are the ones who aren't out there going on and on about "getting tough" on this or that. Martin served honorably and I will be voting for him soon.
