International war crimes prosecution more likely if pardons? |
|
If Bush issues pardons to his co-conspirators, does it make it more likely that other nations will pursue him and the others for war crimes? I'm starting to think the answer is yes. Bush and his co-conspirators will never be able to leave the country for any reason. Even if they head to a country which is unlikely to pursue them for war crimes, any stops along the way will make them vulnerable for prosecution. What do you think?

He never traveled a lot anyway. He'll hole up at Crawford and live like the pampered king he was raised to be.

2. He wants to add to his "coffers." |

I think he will want to travel to pick up speaking fees, like President Clinton. Not too many want to hear him, except maybe his overlords in Saudi Arabia and the like. Anyway, regardless of Bush, he has had many co-conspirators. They really should fear being picked up while abroad.
BTW, love the picture in your signature line.
