That there is a consensus among both liberal and conservative economists, indicates to me that neither side has a clue as to what might work.

And we can use it to invest in the market or spend at the mall, buy a car, donate, put in the bank, start a business, pay down the mortgage, or pay off our credit cards, or whatever. If they really believed in a "free market," they'd do it.
