Close Guantanamo! That's what I hear. The chicken coups, or the naval base? I say BOTH.

It's the oldest naval base outside the continental United States. Close the base on 1/20/09 and let's get our military the hell out of their country. I hear lots of people say "Close Guantanamo!", but never hear a distinction between the chicken coups and the naval base. I'm assuming that is because closing both is what drives the sentiment, but sometimes wonder if the youngest among us (voters) even realize that we have a huge military presence there. I just want to put it out there that when I yell "Close Guantanamo!", I'm speaking about both.

Normalize relations with Cuba. It's time. We need to disabuse ourselves of old notions about communism and cold war. Surely it would improve our standing with Central and South American countries.

Give them access to our markets. Buy their exports. I see nothing but benefit for both parties. Move a MLB team there and I bet they win the World Series in less than five years.

Also, think of how many new cars the Big Three can sell down there! Okay, that last part was tongue-in-cheek.

The chicken coups that hold the "enemy combatants" should be disassembled, and brought to Crawford, TX and reassembled on bush's pseudo-ranch.
