Here's an idea for all the dead-ender red states.... |
|
...like Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, et. al. You want less government? You want lower taxes? Fine, let's close all your military bases and cut off all your federal funding. No more freebies go to your lower-than-the-national-average-GDP states including your Republicant earmarks. And then we'll give all the excess to those states who deserve the money.
Then let's see you survive, you bunch of racist, homophobic motherfuckers.
(Obviously, we will encourage the progressives "trapped" in those states to move to better places).

2. that's the hard part--we can't fuck the liberals who live there |
|
we can't make/encourage the liberals to move because this is their home. i wish there was a way to target the assholes there without hurting the innocents. unfortunately, to target these states--everyone there will suffer. not just the assholes.

who lives in a "blue" state is beyond reproach. I'm surprised you even took the time to address us racist, redneck, homophobes that inhabit the "red" states.:eyes:
And I'm not "Trapped" in OK, I live here because I love it.B-)

4. I'm a LIBERAL and you can encourage all you want, but I can't |

afford to move. Since I can't afford to move in the first place I sure as heck wouldn't have the money to return to help care for aging relatives: my grandmother is into her 80s, my mother in law and father in law are in their early 80s, my mother is very well and in her early 70s, although she'll swear she's 49 and holding.
Would you mind sharing what brought about this hostility today?

I live in a blue state. The area where I live is very red. I was so embarrassed on Nov. 4th. All the counties around mine, except for one, went blue for Obama. We were little dots of red in a sea of blue. I worked hard. Nothing would have changed it.
We have all those same assholes here in my very blue state.

7. Thank you, but I'm not "trapped" in the state where I live |
|
And you can take your condescending attitude and insults and put them where the sun doesn't shine.
There are no "red" states or "blue" states, as Obama says, we are all the United States, and one would think that after the divisive tenor of our national political discussions over the past eight years, people would realize that we're all in this together. Each and every state state has their share of rabid right wingers. Numerically there are probably more rabid RWer's in California than here in Missouri, but due to the vast population of California, the liberals have the numbers to outweigh them.
Oh, and idiot child, if you want to take away all the federal funding in the red states, let's see how well the rest of you do without food. Oops.
As far as being trapped, I'm not trapped, I choose to live in this state. It is where I was born, it's where I'll die. I love the vast and varied scenery and couldn't stand to live in someplace like Southern California or on the Eastern seaboard. Too much traffic, too much urban landscape, too many people. Some folks like that, but for me, while it's nice to visit, I don't want to live there.
So go take your divisive bullshit and holier than thou attitude and shove it. We're trying to get beyond that sort of petty political bullshit, and frankly you need to shut the fuck up and evolve a little.

8. They should be dissolved as states and absorbed by neighbors. |

And all their Republican residents, especially that f*****g Saxby, exported to Cuba.

9. Why should I have to move from my home? |
|
I've lived here all my life.
My husband and I both work for a state university. You're advocating that I lose my job. Thanks.
And BTW, I pay federal income tax. Am I to get nothing for my money?

More broad-brush "fuck you red states" prejudice. As if we needed more of that. :-(
