3. Years ago,
a marine biologist friend of mine who works at Woods Hole told me that naval sonar operations were killing off everything. He also predicted that they'd get away with it.

5. This one is just stupid...


I rarely comment on these, because I usually agree with them, but this one I find to be idiotic in the extreme. War is an axe, period, not a scalpel, and to claim otherwise is just being stupid.

Mr. Fish is virulently anti-war. He is making the same statement you are, but more subtly.

7. Ahh, I see, I don't know the cartoonist's history...
so without that as context, this cartoon can be taken either way. Especially considering that many people actually BELIEVE that the war in Afghanistan and possible expansion of that war into Pakistan would be a good idea.
