I told a coworker that you can tell alot about someone by how they:
work, drive, and vote.

work: late all the time, lazy, slow, bad attitude = bad person strike 1

drive: no license, no insurance, no registration, no inspection, speeds, is inconsiderate of others = bad person strike 2

vote: Votes for republicans = bad person strike 3

YOU'RE OUT!

Take this into consideration ladies and gentlemen that are searching for that special someone and avoid a messy divorce.

1. vote: Votes for Republicans = bad person strike...screw it, that's enough.
All it would take for me is that one strike and they'd be out.

2. bah hahah. looking at the surface and judging another? likely to get it wrong

inevitably, even when someone tells you how wrong you are

i think those are silly ways of deciding all of who a person is. i was going along a little with one. two.... made me laugh. and showed me once again, how people seeing things from their own eyes leaves them awfully limited in their thinking.

7. I'm not limited in my way of thinking.
If you're a shitty employee, a bad driver, and a repukelican, you're an asshole. Life is too short to spend very much more time figuring that person out. I wouldn't marry a repuke in any scenario, but if someone is all three, forget it. I wouldn't want to be around them at all. Those three standards tell alot about how that person is in general. I've seen too much evidence in my ordinary experience to convince me otherwise.

11. not having license, inspection ect doesnt make you a bad driver. has nothing to do with driving
Edited on Sun Dec-21-08 08:45 AM by seabeyond
ability. honestly, speed has nothing to do with driving ability either. if a person is poor, they may have to decide on an inspection sticker or heat for their house. that doesnt make you bad, it means a person is poor. a person that speeds isnt a bad driver. they could be a bad driver, or they could be a kick ass driver that pays attention, very courteous, defensive driver and a person that goes speed limit can be the poor driver, inept and tend to accidents. just cause a person follows speed limits doesnt make them a good driver. just as going over speed limit does not make them a bad driver

i married a repug. 15 yrs. raising two beautiful, kind, intellectual, wonderful children that are a real asset to this world. husband is so good to me, we have such a solid marriage and give an excellent example to our children and teach them well, they are going to absolutely be a plus for the world, not a drain

he also voted bush in 2000, kerry in 2004 and obama in 2008. regardlesws he is still a repug. as is my in laws and my father. inlaws didnt vote in 2004 and 2008 cause they couldnt vote this adm and didnt want dem and my father voted obama in 2008

the worker part.... makes them a poor worker, but even they have a place in this world. not my thing, but i do know it is not indicative of all that they are and who knows the reason.

on edit: i see it is merely voting repug, not even being repug. my area, often there are no other people BUT repug running. gives me a choice of not voting at all, or voting for the best repug. even i have voted repug.... makes me bad/asshole? or exercising a right to vote and make the most responsible choice i can?

12. I'm sure there are lots of exceptions, as in your case.
It's hard sometimes to convey one's intentions in a forum like this.

As far as driving goes, I know that not having valid vehicle registration is usually nothing more than not having the money. Being poor doesn't make a person bad. What I am talking about is drivers that purposely act in an irresponsible, wreckless, and selfish manner persistently.

I was just trying to give a little advice that has helped me avoid problems and conflicts with others. Sorry if the intention wasn't clear. Sorry if you felt offended and thought I was trying to be mean.

3. hmmmm....person number one...
at work all the time, never late

careful driver

votes Democrat

Also, person number one abuses his/her spouse and kids

Person number two....

late to work, slow to finish jobs, etc

rude driver, doesn't have a license or registration

votes Republican

Treats his/her spouse and kids like gold, however...

Conclusion....Prince (or Princess) Charming doesn't exist in the real world.

4. I think that the driver part cancels out how you treat your family
Because you obviously don't care about anyone else's family - you're quite willing to kill someone else's loved ones. And it especially cancels it out if you drive dangerously with your family in the car, because then you're also quite willing to kill them no matter how well you may treat them.

8. That's how I see it. Driving is dangerous and risky.
People that drive like idiots don't seem to care about anyone, not even themselves. And crummy drivers are very selfish. Ironic isn't it?

6. It's a good thing my wife didn't go by that list.
Number one would've prevented our marriage...of 28 years.

I was late as often as possible, I'm lazy, not so slow, and had a real bad attitude about bosses and work in general.

9. I can't judge you on based only on what I've seen here.
I have been a shitty employee, a bad driver, and at one time very long ago, a repuke. I was an idiot during those times. I admit my shortcomings.

Some jobs just plain suck. People make mistakes on the road. I understand that. But someone that has all three character flaws is someone I know I wouldn't like today.

16. I was about to say that #1 usually just means ...
... the person has a job they hate. People who like their jobs, even if they're "bad" people, don't act like that.

15. alright, so I've had my fair share of speeding tickets
but I'm not sure if they count because I did finally figure out I only got them when I was the only person on the road (except for a sneaky cop). :D
