I wonder what Obama has learned since the election.

The things he had no idea that were going on. The briefings and conversations that have revealed so much new info. I wonder what has changed in his mind because of all that he's learned.

And I wonder how he mangages all those people trying to get a foot in the door for one thing or another. It must be overwhelming. I wish the guy nothing but the best.

I couldn't imagine the feeling.

1. I would say this. All Congress has put their hands in our pocket

Trying to clean up the budget is going to be a fun thing to watch. They could save a good deal if they just made COLA a flat raise every year and not a percent raise but I bet he will not even get that done. Now tell me you need the percent raise. The lower paid SS person pays less for its bread than the higher paid SS person. Right?

2. I'm really thinking of him personally. Trying to delegate important tasks to people you trust.

But what if they're not up to it? What if they get corrupted? What has he learned that makes his job that much more daunting?

And would he come to realize how hard it's going to be to keep certain campaign promises? I'm just curious about his most recent awareness of his new job.
