If so, you're absolutely right--Wallace is a gas-bag who's been flatulating on the public stage for years. Why he sometimes gets a pass here on DU is wholly beyond me.

18. Not honesty. They're still self interested lying fucks who tell people what they want to hear. |
|
What the public wants to hear is different. If the public lurches right in a year or two they'll all lurch right again. And if the public lurches left they'll do that. Right now vaguely leftish optimistic centrism is in, so they're leftish centrists, they were always leftish centrists, and they won't schedule anybody who says otherwise.

The days of "Uncle Walter" giving it to us straight has been changed to tabloid sensationalism on a 24hr news cycle. To add to this , tweety is going to make a future run for Arlin Specters Senate seat as a Dem. Meanwhile MSNBC needs to sell soap and lots of it. I get my news here, it's the best place I've found.

Whether it was going to be Hillary, Obama or McCain. He knew he had to start making the change in time as to make it appear like the change was gradually. This is what he does: he always picks the side of those in power, no matter who they are. That's why I have no respect for him.
