The most insulting aspect of the looming pardons |
|
Well, besides the fact that the felons who so gleefully brought this nation to its knees will be skating away with a middle finger held high to you and me, that is.
Whether the words come from the mouth of the Chimp, Stepford Perino, or another nameless spokesperson, I predict that we'll hear this: "The president believes, as does President-elect Obama, that it is time for the country to move forward, not look backward."
The final slap to the face of America by the Criminal in Chief will include a back-handed misappropriation of Obama's message. Watch for it.

1. moving forward wisely means learning from our past |

If we let criminals skate free and clear, we're not only not learning from our past, we're condoning criminal behavior as acceptable.
At this point, I'm not feeling very excited about anything. Rick Warren's presence says all that needs to be pointed out about stupidity in this idea of moving forward and "uniting" America.
Unity? Let's invite David Duke to give an invocation and see how that makes everyone feel.
