1. No. She should make a scrapbook to keep forever and pass down to her children. |
|
Her pics should be kept private. :hi:

6. If she wanted to publish them, she could make a lot of money for the cause of her choice. |
|
If she and her parents wanted to publish them, I stress.

2. She should save them for a book after she leaves the White House |
|
She could make tons of money with a book after she leaves the White House (hopefully at the age of 18).

4. She could make a scrapbook form of some of her favorites and publish a children's book. |
|
That would be cool. A children's book by a First Daughter.

5. She should do what she wants with them, they belong to her |
|
If she wants to publish them - great! If not, that's great, too.
Her choice.
(But I would like to see one or two of them - bet she had a great view)

I've noticed that she looks at things going on around her through the viewer of the camera a lot, even when she's not taking pictures. It's a nice way for her to take all this mayhem and confusion that she's been thrown into and be an observer in manageable pieces. She's not the subject anymore, everyone else is. It's really therapeutic and she should not be encouraged to make money off of them. Then it would totally put the focus back on her and change her motivation. Leave her alone.

10. That's a very intelligent, considerate, and insightful viewpoint, imho. Very good. |

I agree wholeheartedly. It's important to appreciate how Malia deals with the maelstrom surrounding her and how her parents have equipped her to cope reasonably and age-appropriately with these events. As folks attempt to co-opt her behavior, propelling her in directions that aren't in service to her personal growth path, without a full appreciation for her own motives, it's somewhat disrespectful of her and the obviously excellent guidance her parents provide. Malia is doing quite well without 'suggestions' from folks who don't know her.

I'd love to see those pictures too--the perspective would be absolutely unique.
Slightly off topic, I'm going to enjoy watching her grow up, to extent we'll see that. I bet she turns into the most incredible young woman some day, with her genes and her parents. I'm sure both girls will, but we can already see a bit of that in Malia.

8. I'd rather she keep them for herself and maybe release them years from now. |
