Regarding Tice and the wiretapping. Something more to consider |
|
Many seem to think that it's history, an unfortunate event that will now (or has been) rectified now that Obama is in charge.
Here's the thing: all of that data was digitized and stored somewhere, probably in multiple of multiple copies, somewhere.
Do you really think it will all be destroyed, or has been?
How many copies are already floating out there somewhere?
The amount of data they gathered is staggering and while they probably have only just skimmed the surface of it, there's probably scores of buried treasures, just waiting to be mined. Oh, I don't mean about terrorism or national security. Things that affect the stock market. Corporate secrets. Personal things that could be really useful for blackmail purposes. Etc etc etc, just use the imagination.
It's all still somewhere, safe and sound, in multiple copies. Well, safe and sound is a relative term anyway.
It's like buried radioactive waste. It never really goes away, it's just waiting for someone to stumble upon it.
A sort of akashic record, if you will.

2. I really hope this story does not die and people see the full scope . |
|
And I do not think ..as you do.. the full scope of this has been exposed.
Every time you think you cannot be shocked anymore you get shocked again.

4. No doubt, the raw data was immediately transferred electronically |
|
to some safe foreign country where the Bush right-wingers will be able to use it for their purposes in the future. That's my guess, anyway. I just put nothing past them. If they would obtain the data illegally in the first place, what is to prevent them from saving one or more copies for themselves outside the U.S.? The potential for criminal conduct is enormous.
The moment that I heard about the mysterious worm, I wondered if it had anything to do with the Bush devotees.
Now, mind you, I could be completely wrong in my guess on this. But of one thing I am certain, when a government is as secretive as the Bush administration was, citizens are free to and likely to speculate about all kinds of extremely horrible things that could be going on. And who is to believe Bush or his buddies if they deny our crazy sounding theories? After all, Bush lied to our faces about his compliance with the Constitution on surveillance and we have the proof that he lied.
