Atlas Sports Genetics-test ages 1+ for sports potential
Finding any great Olympic champion normally takes years to determine.

What if we knew a part of the answer when we were born?

ATLAS First $149.00
Recommended for ages 1 and up.
Description: Our Atlas First product is geared specifically at the youngest of athletes. Doing any type of performance based sport talent identification testing is very difficult below age 6 due to early stage developmental levels of motor skills, strength and eye-hand coordination. Atlas First looks at only genetic markers, specifically the ACTN3 gene. Studies have found that individuals having the R577X variant in both copies of their ACTN3 gene may have a natural predisposition to endurance events, in one copy of their ACTN3 gene may be equally suited for both endurance and sprint/power events, in neither copy of their ACTN3 gene may have a natural predisposition to sprint/power events. Knowing this information may be helpful, not in eliminating choices for sport activities but adding exposure to a host of team or individual sport events that may come easier to a young athlete.

The test is one tool of many that can help children realize their athletic potential.

ATLAS Plus $249.00
- Recommended for ages 7 and up
Description: Atlas Plus is designed for the needs of the pre-pubescent athlete. In addition to testing genetic markers associated talent identification, the ATLAS Plus package includes a home version of our Vertical and Broad Jump Assessment Chart. The Vertical and Broad Jump measures POWER. It relates to an athlete’s ability to make the quick explosive movements necessary to be successful.
“ The vertical jump is the best indicator of talent for power sports.”
Boyd Epley
Hall of Fame Strength Coach

ATLAS Pro $999.00
- Recommended for athletes over age 10
Description: Atlas Pro gives parents and athletes the same opportunities for testing talent identification as do professional and Olympic athletes. The Atlas Pro package includes:
* Atlas Sports Genetic SportGene® Test
* Home Vertical and Broad Jump Assessment Chart with EPIC Talent Identification Rating (up to 10 ratings)
* Home Electronic Timer for timing SPEED and AGILITY with EPIC Talent Identification Rating (up to 10 ratings)

1. Wow, didn't the US beat up on the Russians and
other countries for diverting very young kids to competitive sports?

I have a nephew in the Olympic Development Program. It's kind of fucked up.

4. Soo cradle to grave, be number one, program your child.
This is sick. Just go out into the world and have fun, play, be a kid.

5. Sick, but not surprising. We live in an extremely sports-oriented
culture where being on some sort of team is the norm from an early age. Kids at my daughter's high school who don't go out for a sport are made miserable in PE class by coaches who punish them by trying to push them beyond their limits and setting them up for failure.

6. Think of this as a test for stupidity.
If you purchase the test, you pass. And may have a future as an athlete.
