so this means what exactly? that the next several months will be spent talking about it, or is there a bill that's good to go? i am unclear on what precisely "go to the floor" means, other than the Rs have given up their filibuster.

sorry for the schadenfreude. i'm still a little bitter after the bush years.

9. Republicans cave? In disarray?
Glerk! Does not compute! The popular media can't adjust their favorite story lines, and the mere idea that Republicans would be anything other than "disciplined" and "principled" isn't to be accommodated. Some new story line will be cobbled together so that it looks like Democrats caved or are in disarray, and that the Republicans are being ever so principled.
