I'm making my announcement today that I'm dropping out of the race for Governor of Michigan

Despite the fact that I never started a campaign, or raised one thin dime, I cannot in good conscience let that stop me from dropping out.

I've made my decision after not conferring with my family (who are just now finding out that I'm dropping out of a campaign that I never started), that the task of a non-campaign was just too daunting a task for me to overcome.

Lastly, I want to apologize to all my fellow Michigan Democrats for letting you down, even though you had no idea that you were supporting my non-campaign for Lansing.

Please join with me in supporting our legitimate Democratic candidate, Virg Bernero http://www.votevirg.com/, this November.
