Whenever any species becomes overcrowded, there is ALWAYS a massive die-off, but rarely is it a total one. The most likely candidate for the die-off will be starvation combined with disease. The poor countries will be hit hardest and the industrialized countries will be hit less hard. Global population will level off at about 100 million.
