she used to be my congresswoman and as a delegate i was honored to sit with her for a period of time to chat and laugh ...on the floor of the convention..i love that woman!!

she and i had a history as when i moved to Los Angeles ..into Sherman Oaks ..a kid was shot and killed at my son's middle school..she came to the parents meeting..

me being from the east coast ..i am pretty forward ( no shit right??)..and i went at her
HARD..to demand answers..i was mad..i was upset ,.because my child saw a kid shot and killed at the light in front of his school where he crossed the street to walk across the street and home...
I was tough on Maxine..real tough..I was a parent who moved there from Kansas where nothing like that happened..anD i was so outraged..

I went nose to nose with Maxine for answers..she did not disappoint me..she answered my questions ..she made changes..she worked her ass off..and she became an aquaintence I am proud to say i had with her through my years in Sherman Oaks..and the Valley of LA..she does what she says she will..she is honest when she can do nothing, she is a woman of the utmost integrity..more than anyone i can ever say i have met in our government!!

She respected my agressiveness to get answers and changes for the schools in the Valley..( its complicated what went on, i am not going into the details of it) ...but she stood by the parents..she stood by our children..and she stood for truth and honesty..no matter how good or bad it was..

again i will say..i love that woman..and am proud to say i know her..and she has all my heartfilled respect!
