I will work harder and see average wages continue to stagnate or even decline. I will work harder and continue to see health care and public education for myself and my children decay and deteriorate. The simple truth of the matter is American workers in the industrialized world logged more hours than workers in all the other developed countries, but American workers did it for less pay and compensation than workers in other countries.

They worked harder, longer, and faster than other workers because there was no other fucking choice left to them by their employer and because people need to put the damn food on the table each and every goddamn day and pay the fucking bills that come at the end of each horrible month.
