Pew poll on Muslim-Americans - what the right-wingers won't tell you

Driving to and fro today, I heard Limbaugh and Boortz making a big deal about a new Pew Poll that took a look at the Muslim-American community. As always, they single in on just a few questions, and even then took the results out of context. They would have us believe that even "mainstream" Muslim-Americans support such actions as suicide bombings.

Here is a link to the entire study. If you look at it, it's quite clear that most Muslim-Americans are just as concerned about "extremist" Muslims as the rest of us. And despite what Rush claims, the vast majority of them do NOT support suicide bombings. It's actually a very good in-depth study. I would highly recommend people take a look at it, and use it to counter all the anti-Muslim bullshit that you might run into.

But if you listen to the right-wing nutjobs, you'd think that was one of the only questions asked - even then, they blow it way out of perspective.
